Problem Solving for Startups
I started a venture capital company, Remat Investments in Ghana with a license to do business across the African continent. The company's focus is to provide funding for startups across the continent in impact industries like technology, agriculture, health care and real estate. I want to work for an investment banking firm in America for about two years after graduation before taking a full time role with the venture business.

Q: How has AV福利社 prepared you to take on tomorrow鈥檚 challenges?

A: I have become a well rounded person at AV福利社. Juggling soccer and school has made me build time management skills which I know will be important in the future. I approach problems with an open mind and see every challenge as an opportunity to learn. I'm ready to face any challenges in the future.

Q: Can you tell me about the startup company you founded in Ghana? Is this your post-graduation plan? If not, do you have one?

A: I started a venture capital company, Remat Investments, in Ghana with a license to do business across the African continent. The company's focus is to provide funding for start ups across the continent in impact industries like technology, agriculture, health care and real estate. I want to work for an investment banking firm in America for about two years after graduation before taking a full time role with the venture business.

Q: Why did you found the AV福利社 Africa Business Club?

A: I started the  to provide a platform through the business school to promote the awareness of business and investment opportunities in Africa. We bring business leaders, entrepreneurs, and policy makers from Africa and around the world to share ideas and connect with each other while providing students the opportunity to have a global perspective and to network.

Q: What is a classroom or extracurricular activity at AV福利社 that helped you determine what you want to pursue in the future?

A: In the classroom, my  classes taught me more about myself as an African and the continent as a whole. I learned more about Africa's history which inspired me to find avenues to go into the financial industry.

Q: What is your favorite thing about AV福利社?

A: The campus and classes are just about the right size for me. I am able to make friends and connect with professors easily. This promotes a family atmosphere.

Q: Where is your study spot of choice on campus?

A: FML
